Through many nationwide disasters and years of various acts of service, founders, Josh and Mary Cross, felt compelled to bring their passion of servanthood under one roof here in Beauregard Parish – thus forming New Step Outreach in July of 2019 and opening their first office December 7, 2019. New Step Outreach is a 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit organization driven by the motto, “bringing HOPE during difficult times”. Providing immediate disaster relief supplies is the very core of New Step Outreach, however, 2020 brought the organization a different avenue of service - veteran and senior citizen care - via the COVID-19 Pandemic. Although disaster relief remains the core of our organization, providing monthly commodity boxes to our veterans and senior residents has become just as much as a priority.
