About
Being humbled by their first mission trip in 2007, heavy involvement in community outreach, and joining disaster relief teams throughout the nation to bring help to those devastated by natural disasters, founders, Josh and Mary Cross, felt compelled to bring their passion of servanthood under one roof here in Beauregard Parish – thus forming New Step Outreach in July of 2019. New Step Outreach is a 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit organization driven by the motto, “bringing HOPE in times of need”. Providing immediate disaster relief supplies: water, food, hygiene and clean-up buckets, is the very core of New Step Outreach. The 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic, however, brought the organization a different avenue of service - veteran and senior citizen care. It is here that NSO began providing monthly commodity boxes to our senior residents and veterans; although disaster relief is the very core of NSO, this added service has become just as much of a priority.
